H.W. "Bill" Lende, Jr. Annual Graduate Research Fund

This scholarship was created by Mr. Bill Lende to support graduate students engaged in nature-related research.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Current Graduate and Doctoral students
  • Major: any in the College of Sciences and Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design
  • Credit Hours: Completed a minimum of 9 hours but not more than 27 hours at the time of the award disbursal.
  • GPA: cumulative 3.0+ (4.0 scale)
  • Must be engaged in research projects at the Cibilo Preserve
  • Project funding is renewable if the research demonstrates progress, as determined by the award committee

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

*Applicants must submit:

  • A project proposal that includes the following: Statement of Need; Brief Background; Hypotheses; Methodology; Timeline
  • A brief Personal Statement of long-term goals and career plans
  • Curriculum Vitae or Resume
  • A letter of support from the sponsoring faculty member
