Peter Enrique Ramirez, M.D. Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dr. Ramirez, pathologist and UTSA alumnus. It is intended to support students who plan to become physicians.

ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA

• Incoming or Current Freshman, or Sophomores, enrolled full time (12+ credit hours/semester)
  *exception for renewed recipient who does not need to be full-time to graduate
• Major: any in the College of Sciences
• Overall GPA: 2.0+ on a 4.0 scale
• Indicated intention to pursue medical school
• Preference to students who demonstrate financial need
• Automatically renewed if all eligibility criteria are met and recipient continues to pursue a path to medical school.
