The Doña Agripina de Urdaneta Endowed Scholarship in Anthropology

This Scholarship is for Undergraduate or Graduate students in Anthropology

Undergraduate students: Full-time student majoring in anthropology, and registered for 12 credit hours during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters. They must have completed at least 60 credit hours of course work.
Graduate students: They must be registered for at least six semester credit hours during the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters.
• Both undergraduate and graduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Must be able to demonstrate financial need as determined by UTSA’s Office of Financial Aid.
• Preference will be given to anthropology students who: (1) represent the first generation in their family to attend a college or university, (2) have a focus on cultural anthropology, and/or (3) are residents of South Texas, including Bexar County.
