AFCEA Annual Cyber Security Scholarship
This scholarship was established by The Alamo Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association to support students pursing a cyber security or information assurance-related concentration or minor. It is available to students who meet the following criteria:
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA
- Current Undergraduate(s), enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours/semester) or Graduate(s), enrolled full-time (9+ credit hours/semester)
_exceptions for those who do not need to be full-time to graduate - Major: Computer Science
- Concentration: cyber security or information assurance
- GPA: cumulative 2.8+ (Freshmen, Sophomores), 3.0+ (Juniors, Seniors), and 3.2+ (Graduates)
- Must be U.S. Citizens
- Preference to students who are members of a UTSA team participating in an cyber security-related collegiate competitions (applicants must provide a letter from the team advisor as proof)
- Preference to students enrolled in ROTC (non-scholarship cadets), active duty, veterans, or their family members (applicants must provide a letter verifying their status as proof.)
