The Eileen Lundy Scholarship for Excellence in English Education
This opportunity is for undergraduate students majoring in English and is enrolled in the Teacher Certification Program at UTSA
- Must be enrolled on a full-time basis (minimum 12 credit hours).
- Must complete a Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
- Must be returning to college, with preference given to students who have not attended college full time for a period of 10 years or more.
- Must have completed a minimum of 60 semester credit hours with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must provide a short statement describing status and financial need.
- Applicants must provide a writing sample (250-500 words) describing reasons for wanting to teach English at the high school or college level.
