Ruben Munguia Endowed Scholarship
Ruben Munguia Sr. passed away in 2003, having contributed as a long-time community organizer, speaker and writer, political sage, and printing press owner in the Prospect Hill neighborhood in San Antonio’s Westside. Muguia Printing developed into a unique forum for politicians and others interested in public affairs: politicians approaching Mr. Munguia for political advice; grassroots level activists seeking his assistance; minority residents and business owners finding support when Anglo residents in the area refused.
