Raul F. Escandon Annual Scholarship
Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 Semester
- Recipients must be enrolled full-time as determined by the University and actively pursuing a degree in any of the engineering disciplines in the College. An exception to full-time enrollment may be granted by the Dean of the College, or their designee, on a case by-case basis, such as, but not limited to, when the student is not required to take a full course load to graduate or participating in an internship program, provided the student is enrolled at least half-time.
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- Preference will be given to applicants who are first-generation college students. It is the intent of the Donor to assist students from low-income households who otherwise would not be able to attend the University.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are members of the National Society of Black Engineers, the Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers, Society of Women Engineers or similar campus professional organizations.
