TRIO Student Support Services Scholarship

TRIO Student Support Services is a program that works with students who are first generation college students, have a documented disability, or who are income eligible. Now currently accepting students for Summer 2023 and Fall 2023!

This scholarship is available for incoming new TRIO SSS students. Students who have applied and completed their intake interview (including any follow up documentation that is needed) with the program director of the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program are welcome to apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be Pell Grant eligible and be able to demonstrate financial need. If you are a current UTSA student you must be in good academic standing (GPA above 2.0). All applicants must commit to fully participating in the TRIO SSS program by being 3-2-1 complete each semester and must attend our TRIO SSS orientation program: Camp TRIO.

Applicants must also complete 3 short answer essays.
