Bank of America Endowed Scholarship for Child and Adolescent Development Studies

The Bank of America Endowed Scholarship for Child and Adolescent Development allows for graduate and undergraduate internships and scholarships through the Child and Adolescent Policy Research Institute. Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time. Recipients must be in good academic standing within the college. a. For current graduate students, recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. For incoming graduate students, the recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 hours of their undergraduate coursework. The recipient(s) must be doing field or practicum work at the Navarro Academy or the EdgewoodCardenas Child Development Center.

Applicants must submit, through the UTSA Scholarship HUB, a one-to-two page single-spaced essay addressing their interest in working in early childhood education (ages 0-8 years old) and their graduate study and career goals. The applicant must also identify which Department affiliated faculty member they wish to work with and describe their goals for the collaboration.

A letter of recommendation from a Department member is required.

The Fall 2023 award is open on February 15, 2023 – April 15, 2023.
