The San Antonio Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors Accounting Annual Scholarship

• Declared major in accounting at the undergraduate level
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average
• Must demonstrate educational course commitment to pursue a career in an audit or forensic related field
• Submit a one-page essay. The essay should be on one of the following topics chosen by the applicant: 1. Describe the value and significance that an internal audit department provides to the company; 2. Describe a significant challenge faced by the internal audit profession today; 3. Describe your career goals and how they relate to the field of internal audit.
• The preferred recipient will be a student with an interest in seeking employment in the internal audit field
• Must be enrolled for at least 12 or more semester credit hours in the fall and spring as an undergraduate
