Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Semester
- Must be enrolled full-time. An exception to full-time enrollment may be granted on a case-by-case basis when the student is not required to take a full course load to graduate, provided the student is enrolled a minimum of half-time.
- Must be classified as a Senior (earned 90+ semester hours)
- Must be in good standing with the University and actively pursuing a degree
- Preference will be given to applicants who are socioeconomically disadvantaged. For the purposes of this scholarship, a socioeconomically disadvantaged student is defined as:
a) A first-generation student;
b) A student who identifies as an orphan/ward of the state, emancipated minor, under legal guardianship, unaccompanied youth, or has been at risk of homelessness, or has a history of foster care;
c) A student who qualified for free or reduced school lunch;
d) Students who are single parents;
e) And/or a student who works part-time to finance their education.

- At any time, did the director of a runaway or homeless youth basis center or transitional living program determine that you were an unaccompanied youth who was homeless or were self-supporting and at risk of being homeless?
