Society of Iranian-American Women for Education Endowed Scholarship

Fall 2023 & Spring 2024 Semester

*Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time and actively pursuing a degree at the University.
*Preference will be given to applicants who have received all or part of their preparatory education in any province of Iran.
*Applicants may be undergraduate or graduate students, but preference will be given to undergraduate applicants.
*Recipient(s) must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0 at the time of the award. If the applicant is an entering freshman, the high school GPA equivalent will be used and the recipient must achieve a GPA of 3 .0 or higher in the Fall to receive the Spring disbursement.
*Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or international students.
*Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate financial need as determined by the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid.
*Applicants must submit an essay of at least 300 words containing their career goals and any information indicating need, such as, but not limited to, recent changes in financial situation or loss of sponsorship.
