Joel Solis, M.D. Annual Scholarship in Honor of Rosa Villasenor
The scholarship was established by Dr. Joel Solis to celebrate his mother as an inspiration in his life. This scholarship is awarded to UTSA students _pursuing a course of study leading to medical school _and meet the following criteria:
*Current Undergraduate, enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours/semester)- Major: Any in the College of Sciences
- GPA: cumulative 2.0+ (4.0 scale)
- Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need, as determined by the FAFSA on file with the UTSA Office of Financial Aid
- Automatically renewed each year if all eligibility criteria are met
