Undergraduate students pursuing BA IDS with bilingual teaching certification for EC-6th and or 4-8th grades levels.
Graduate students pursuing a M.A. in Bicultural-Bilingual Education, or a M.A. in Bicultural Studies.
Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates
Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 for graduates
Must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Applicants must have Spanish/English language proficiency.
Undergraduates must be members in good standing of BESO
Graduates must be members in good standing of GLOBE.
Essay required.
1. Briefly explain in English how you plan to advocate for Bilingual Education.
2. Briefly explain in Spanish why you wish to work in Bilingual Education.
3. List your participation in community and cultural activities. Be sure to include any positions or experiences that demonstrate leadership potential.
