UTSA Graduate Competitive Scholarship for the College of Architecture, Construction, and Planning
Criteria:
• Must be admitted to College of Architecture, Construction, and Planning graduate program, without admission conditions
• Student must be in good academic standing
• GPA Requirements:
o New Master student: Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
o Continuing/current Master student: Minimum UTSA Graduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• The scholarship review committee may consider for MS – Architecture students:
o Letter of Intent that clearly outlines the applicant’s goals for graduate study, including anticipated focus of study and impact on subsequent professional practice.
o Two Letters of Recommendation
o Writing Sample: Sample of expository writing.
o Submit Research Background
• The scholarship review committee may consider for Master of Architecture students:
o Letter of Intent that clearly outlines the applicant’s goals for graduate study, including anticipated focus of study and impact on subsequent professional practice.
o Two Letters of Recommendation
o Portfolio, documenting proficiency in design, graphic communications, and other creative work.
