Southwest Gem & Mineral Society Summer Field Camp Scholarship Endowed Fund

The Southwest Gem and Mineral Society created this scholarship in 1998 to specifically support the Summer Field Camp requirement in the UTSA Geology Program, now the Geosciences Program in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at UT San Antonio’s College of Sciences.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Current Undergraduate(s), enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours/semester)
  • Major: Geosciences
  • GPA: cumulative 2.0+ (4.0 scale) in all major courses
  • Participating in the EPS Summer Field Camp or, with approval, other field camps
