Jared Mitchel Thomas Annual Scholarship
This scholarship was established in honor of Jared Mitchel Thomas, a remarkable young man whose life was defined by kindness, positivity and a quiet strength. Jared was a role model to those who knew him, offering compassion, integrity and warmth in every space he entered. He lived bravely with epilepsy, facing its challenges with resilience, courage and grace. This scholarship exists to support individuals and organizations engaged in research and development aimed at advancing the understanding, treatment, and management of epilepsy. By providing financial assistance to those dedicated to this work, the scholarship seeks to reduce financial barriers to innovation and discovery in the field. The ultimate goal is that continued research will lead to healthier, fuller and more empowered lives for individuals with epilepsy—honoring Jared’s legacy through progress, compassion and hope.
