Vicki L. Martin Endowed Scholarship in Cyber Security

Scholarship Description
This scholarship aims to support full-time undergraduate students in the College of AI, Cyber and Computing who demonstrate academic excellence in the BBA Cybersecurity, BS Cybersecurity, or BS Applied Cyber Analytics degree programs. The award emphasizes diversity, extracurricular engagement, and financial need.

Eligibility Requirements:
Classification: Undergraduate
Enrollment Status: Full-Time
GPA: 3.33 or greater, on a scale of 4.0. Incoming students from another accredited institution (high school or higher education) with a GPA equivalency to the UT San Antonio grade point system will be considered qualified candidates. To remain “qualified,” the student must earn a 3.33 or above GPA in the semester the funds are awarded.  If the recipient fails to make a GPA of 3.00 or above, then they will not be qualified to receive the funds from this endowment from the following semester. 
Open to Majors: Cybersecurity
Other Criteria:

• Preference will be given to students involved in extracurricular activities that advance cyber security.
• Preference will be given to students with financial need.
• Preference will be given to students from populations that are demonstrably underrepresented in the cybersecurity profession.
