Dr. Paul H. Rodriguez Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship honors and recognizes a kind, generous, respectful man who worked tirelessly to support his students and university and to advance his research on the Aedes aegypti mosquito in an effort to help prevent mosquito-borne diseases. Dr. Rodriguez was integral in the work to help establish UTSA’s first federally-funded minority research programs.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Current Undergraduate, enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours/semester)
• Major: Biology
• GPA: cumulative 3.0+ (4.0 scale)
• Recipients must express intentions to pursue a career in research
