Valero Business Scholars Program

The Valero Business Scholars Program has been established to select a small number of students who will receive an annual scholarship and be paired up with a member of the Valero professional team/mentor. Each scholar will be assigned a Valero mentor, with a minimum of two meetings per semester. An annual group trip to Valero is available to all scholars, potentially including a lunch with an executive. Access to additional Valero certification class opportunities is an individual basis.

Recipients must be:
• First Generation college student
• Majoring in one of the following: Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Human Resources Management, Information Systems & Technology, Cyber Security, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Statistics & Data Science

Preference is given to those with demonstrated financial need.
