Valero Business Scholars Program

The Valero Business Scholars Program has been established to select a small number of students who will receive an annual scholarship and be paired up with a member of the Valero professional team. Each scholar will be assigned a Valero mentor, with a minimum of two meetings per semester. An annual group trip to Valero is available to all scholars, potentially including lunch with an executive. Access to additional Valero certification class opportunities may be available on an individual basis.

Students from the following business majors qualify for the Valero Business Scholars Program: Accounting; Finance; Business Analytics; Economics; Human Resources Management; Information Systems & Technology; Cyber Security; Operations and Supply Chain Management; Statistics & Data Science. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate financial need
