XQuant Master's Inititative

Fall 2025 & Spring 2026
1. Must be eligible to receive federal financial aid. (US Citizen, US permanent resident, or other listed in https://studentaid.gov/sites/default/files/eligibility.pdf)
2. Have FAFSA for academic year 2025-2026. Your form needs to be submitted for a “Student College or Career School Plan” as Master’s , doctorate, or graduate certificate program (FAFSA’s Question 4).
3. Must Meet income qualification: AGI in FAFSA (filed for graduate school) needs to be under the limits in https://www.ed.gov/about/ed-offices/ope/trio/federal-trio-programs-current-year-low-income-levels (for the family size in your FAFSA)
4. Must be admitted to the Master’s of Science in Business Research (MSBR) and enroll 9 SCH (student credit hours) each semester (excluding summer).
5. Student must maintain good academic standing with the university during the time of the scholarship and maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average in their MSBR coursework, verified at the beginning of each semester in which the scholarship is renewed.
6. Funds from this scholarship will be disbursed equally during the fall 2025, spring 2026, and fall 2026 semesters and are contingent upon the availability of funds authorized under PPOHA Grant P031M240034 and the recipient successfully completing their commitments with the XQuant program.
7. Selection of the recipient(s) will be made by XQuant Scholarship Committee on a rolling basis on the 15th and last day of each month.
8. Academic merit will be considered in the selection process among eligible students. By applying to the grant, students agree that XQuant Scholarship Committee reviews their MSBR application materials.

XQuant program has the following commitments:
• Attend the 10 sessions and take the three exams of the MSBR Mathematics Bootcamp in the first three weeks in August (August 4 to August 22). Exact dates and times will be communicated in mid June.
• Attend MSBR/Ph.D. Orientation program (full day program on the week of August 18 to August 22.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 in the program.
• Attend XQuant Research Success and Mentoring sessions distributed throughout the academic year.
