Panfeld Family Endowed Scholarship

Academic Year 2025 – 2026

MUST be participating in a UT San Antonio-approved internship program IN THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (D.C) ONLY and must receive University credit for the internship.

  • The internship must be with the U.S. government, non-governmental organizations, or non-profit organizations.
  • Must be a Texas resident who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Student must be in good academic standing
  • Complete online application on UT San Antonio Scholarship Hub

Additional Requirements:

  • Short essay: Explain what this scholarship means to you
  • Short essay: Autobiographical
  • Two letters of recommendation (teachers, employers, counselors, supervisors)

Post-Internship Requirement:

  • The scholarship recipient will, upon completion of their internship, write and submit to the UT San Antonio Alumni Association a brief report about their internship experience.
