Frank and Beverly Chapman Endowed Scholarship

FALL 2026 & SPRING 2027 SEMESTER

• Complete the entire online application on the UT San Antonio Scholarship Hub
• Recipients must be enrolled Full-Time as an undergraduate and must maintain a minimum of 12 hours.
• Applicants must have entered college for the first time as recent high school graduates. “Recent” is defined as graduating from high school or having graduated from high school within the last three years.
• Preference will be given to students who have graduated from East Central High School in San Antonio, Texas.
• Recipients must maintain full-time status and a minimum 2.75 grade-point average.
• Recipients must be in good academic standing with the university during the awarding period and maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average. For scholarship renewal/continuation purposes, the GPA requirement may be waived for one regular semester by the Association if, in the opinion of the Director or their designee, it is academically feasible for the student to raise their GPA to the required minimum level by the end of the waived regular semester. Written waiver of approval by the Association shall be submitted to the Scholarship Office.
• Scholarship is renewable if all criteria are met by the recipient(s). For renewal, recipient(s) must maintain full-time status as defined above and have a minimum grade-point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
• Recipient must be available to attend a minimum of one event in which UT San Antonio Alumni Association schools are showcased.
• The number and value of scholarships may vary according to the availability of funds.
• Funds from this scholarship will be disbursed equally during the fall and spring semesters and are contingent upon the availability of funds and the recipient successfully maintaining at least all minimum criteria provided herein.
• Final selection of the recipient(s) will be made by an official UT San Antonio Alumni Association committee.

Scholarship recipients will be notified via the Scholarship Hub by mid-July 2026. If you do not receive a notification, please note that regret emails are not automatically sent.
