TPWA South Central Branch Endowed Scholarship in Engineering
Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 Semester
- Recipient(s) shall be enrolled full-time as determined by the University and actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering. An exception to full-time enrollment may be granted by the Dean of the College on a case-by-case basis when the student is not required to take a full course load to graduate, provided the student is enrolled in a minimum of six credits hours.
- Preference will be given to students who are active members of the UTSA TPWA Student Chapter. If the student chapter ceases to exist, then this criterion shall be ignored.
- Preference will be given to applicants who obtain a letter of recommendation from an active member of the South Central Branch of TPWA. Should the branch organization cease to exist then this criterion shall be removed from the criteria.
- Recipient(s) must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 (on a scale of 4.0).
- Recipient(s) are encouraged, but not required, to attend donor specific scholarship events. The recipient(s) will be notified several weeks prior to the event.
- The number and amount of scholarships may vary depending on distributions from the endowment and the applicant pool in any given year.
- This scholarship is not automatically renewable, whoever current recipient(s) are encouraged to reapply provided they meet all eligibility qualifications.
