Pearson Family Annual Scholarship for Computer Science

1. Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time as determined by the University and actively pursuing a degree in computer science.
2. Recipient must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater, on a 4.0 scale. If the applicant is an entering freshman, the high school GPA equivalent will be used.
3. Applicants must have or be facing a hardship, such as, but not limited to, the loss of a parent, financial need preventing the student from continuing their education, or other
financial hardship.
4. It is Donors’ intent a minimum of three (3) recipients will be selected with each recipient receiving $1,000 per academic year. It is also Donors’ intent the recipients will be
supported over multiple years, provided the recipients continues to meet scholarship criteria and funds are available. Should the Donor no longer provide funding and the
remaining funds do not exceed $500, then the remaining funds may be combined with other scholarship funds.
