Robert W. Fuhrman Endowed Award for Student Research
Applicant criteria:
- Graduate students:
– Admitted and in good standing in the Master of Science in Psychology program
– Enrolled in at least 3 credit hours during the semester the funds are awarded
– Have and maintain a 3.0 GPA or better during the semester the funds are awarded
- Undergraduate students:
-Admitted and in good standing with the University for at least 6 credit hours during the semester in which the funds are awarded
– Have a junior or higher status with a minimum of 15 credit hours in Psychology
– Have and maintain a 3.2 GPA or better at the time of application and during the semester in which the funds are awarded
Applicants must submit:
- current copy of transcript
- 500-1000 word statement describing the research project and how awarded funds will be used to support the project
- a letter of support from a faculty sponsor
- one additional letter of recommendation from a UTSA faculty member
