John S. Jockusch Endowed Scholarship in the Liberal Arts

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student with a declared major in a liberal arts discipline within COLFA. Current liberal arts undergraduate majors in COLFA are: American Studies, Anthropology, Communication, English, French, German, History, Humanities, Philosophy, Classical Studies, Geography, Political Science,and Spanish.
**Art and Art History and music majors are not eligible for this scholarship.

• Must have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and award year and be enrolled full time (12 hours for undergrad and 9 hours for grads) during the year in which the award is received.

Requirements:
Completed application and a brief essay about why you have chosen your major and your plans after graduation. A letter of recommendation from a UTSA faculty member (newly admitted graduate students can provide a letter from a faculty member at a previously attended college)
