Legacy Engineering Group Endowed Scholarship in Civil Engineering

1. Recipient(s) must be enrolled in the University and actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in civil engineering in the Department. The number and amount of scholarships
may vary depending on distributions from the endowment and the applicant pool in any given year.
2. Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater, on a scale of 4.0. If the applicant is an entering freshman, the high school GPA
equivalent will be used.
3. Must be a Texas Resident.
4. Preference will be given to applicants who are active members of the following student chapters at the University: Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). Applicants must still meet all other requirements. Should any these organizations cease to exist, the University may substitute with similar student organization(s).
